    If you have not already done so, you will want to establish a relationship with an OB/GYN. You would want a doctor to be a part of your care, before, during and after a pregnancy.

    Estimate the date your baby will arrive based on the first day of your last menstrual period. Pregnancy usually lasts 40 weeks (280 days) from that date.
