Woman’s provides you with direct access to advanced care, counseling and diagnostic services. It is the highest level of specialized care in a family-friendly environment for both you and your baby. This includes the Woman's Fetal Diagnosis and Care Center and Newborn and Infant Intensive Care Center (NICU) are where expert surgeons, neonatologists and other specialists provide you and your baby with advanced care.

When to see a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician
Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists work with your obstetrician to offer total obstetrical care for all types of pregnancy complications. Your doctor may refer you to see a MFM specialist if you have chronic medical conditions (such as diabetes or hypertension) or other high-risk pregnancy specific issue such as:
- Abnormal screening results
- Multiple birth pregnancy
- Fetal congenital anomalies
- Prior pregnancy complications
- Placenta previa
- Vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)
- Morbidly adherent placenta (MAP)
