Dr. Lin Dang Elected 2026 Chief of Staff of Woman’s Hospital

Dr. Lin Dang has been elected to serve as chief of the medical staff at Woman’s Hospital for a one-year term. This is the highest elected leadership position among the medical staff. It is a continuation of her commitment to leadership and innovation at Woman’s having served as past vice chief of staff, past chair of the Medical Staff Peer Review and currently serving as the chair of the Medical Executive Committee. As chief of staff, she will also serve on the Woman’s Board of Directors.

Dr. Dang is a board-certified OB/GYN who is dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care to women of all ages. Currently practicing at Louisiana Women’s Healthcare, she specializes in both routine and high-risk obstetric care and also treats a wide variety of gynecologic conditions.

Dr. Dang earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Xavier University before completing both her Doctorate of Medicine (MD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) at Tulane University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge, where she served as educational chief resident during her final year.

A member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Dr. Dang is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, allowing her to connect with and care for a wide range of patients. She was honored as a Fork Cancer Honoree in 2024–2025 and now serves as a Fork Cancer Committee Chair, helping promote and fundraise for cancer patients in memory of her mother.

Woman’s is a specialty hospital for women and infants located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
