Woman’s Hospital Expands Breast Cancer Care Team

Woman's Hospital has expanded its breast cancer care team with the addition of breast surgical oncologist Dr. Jamie B. Patterson. Bringing over a decade of expertise, Dr. Patterson joins Dr. Cecilia Cuntz and Dr. Lindsey Fauveau in providing comprehensive cancer care to patients across Louisiana.

Dr. Patterson’s wealth of knowledge and specialized experience offer the treatment options our cancer patients need. It is an honor to have Dr. Patterson join our nationally recognized cancer care team,” said Woman’s Hospital President and CEO Rene Ragas.
Dr. Patterson most recently served as medical director for The Breast Center at Kent Hospital, affiliated with Brown University in Rhode Island. She has extensive experience in breast conserving surgery, skin and nipple-sparing mastectomies, and pregnancy-associated breast cancer.
Dr. Patterson earned her medical degree at the University of Nevada and completed her residency at the University of California Irvine where she received numerous awards for surgical excellence.
