Woman’s Hospital Recognized by Forbes as One of the Best Midsize Employers for Third Year in a Row

Woman’s Hospital has been named one of America’s Best Midsize Employers for 2026 by Forbes for the third consecutive year. One of five Louisiana companies to make the list, Woman’s is one of two hospitals in our state to earn this recognition and the only hospital in Baton Rouge to make the list.

The ranking is based on independent survey responses from over 217,000 U.S. employees working at companies with a national workforce of at least 1,000 people. The survey evaluates employees’ personal and public assessments about key areas, including atmosphere & development, salary & wage, company image, culture, working conditions, and workplace environment.

About Woman’s Hospital

Woman’s is a specialty hospital for women and infants located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since opening in 1968, it has welcomed more than 400,000 babies, making it one of the largest delivery services in the country and the largest in Louisiana. Additionally, Woman’s operates a level III-S neonatal intensive care unit; this designation allows them to care for infants who are extremely premature, are critically ill or require surgical intervention.
