Linking MyChart Accounts

All your health information in one place.

If you’ve been seen at more than one healthcare organization, you likely have multiple health records. With MyChart, you can connect these records to your Woman's MyChart account. Connecting your accounts from participating organizations allows information from those organizations to appear in your MyChart, including:

  • Allergies
  • Health History
  • Medications
  • Messages
  • Test Results
  • Appointments and Visits
  • Care Team Members

Linking Organizations

There are several ways you can connect other accounts to your Woman’s MyChart account. The first way is to "link" outside organizations to your Woman's MyChart account.

  1. Log in to your Woman’s MyChart account
  2. Access Menu > Link My Accounts
  3. Search for the organization you’d like to link
  4. Click “Link Account”
  5. Verify your information by logging into this account (this is a one-time step to link the two accounts together).
  6. Once your accounts are linked, you will see both accounts on your Woman’s MyChart homepage.
  7. You can switch between both accounts by clicking “Switch Organization” at the top.

Once your accounts are linked, medical records in your chart will be indicated with a red “e” next to that visit in your medical chart. The same icon will also be used in the labs tab or any place where we received information from an outside organization.

  1. Go to https://mychart.womans.org/MyChart/Authentication/Login?
  2. Navigate to your past visits or labs section. Hovering over the icon will show which organization the information is from.

Creating a MyChart Central Account

The next way to have all of your health information in one spot is to create a MyChart Central account.

MyChart Central is a website that keeps all your MyChart accounts in one place, making it easier to manage health records from multiple organizations. MyChart Central lets you link your accounts so you can use a single login, an Epic ID, to access them all.

Below are some frequently asked questions about MyChart Central.

    Privacy

MyChart Central stores your contact information and basic demographic information.

MyChart Central is designed to keep your information secure and private through:

      • Strong encryption: MyChart Central uses secure encryption technology to keep your password protected and private.
      • Two-factor authentication (2FA): This means that you need two things to log in: your password and a code that Epic sends to your phone or email—whichever you choose. This helps us make sure it’s really you trying to log in. You can also use a passkey or authenticator app to log in to MyChart Central.
      • Regular security audits: MyChart Central's security experts continuously monitor and evaluate the system to identify and address potential risks.
      • HIPAA Privacy and Security Standards: MyChart Central follows strict HIPAA standards. Read the mobile and web privacy policies to see how MyChart Central keeps your data safe.
      • Compliance with security standards: MyChart Central has undergone a thorough evaluation of security measures per industry standards. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us here.

A passkey is like a password, but it’s securely stored on your phone or computer so that you don’t have to remember it. When you use a passkey, your device checks who you are in a secure way without sharing your password. This makes logging in faster, easier, and safer.

      To set up a passkey:

      1. Log in to MyChart Central on your personal device.
      2. Go to Account Settings.
      3. Select Manage passkeys.
      4. Select Add new passkey.
      5. Follow the steps to create your passkey.Next time you log in on that device, select Log in with passkey and follow the prompts.

You can update your contact information on the Personal Information page in your MyChart Central account.

When you update your contact information, MyChart Central can automatically send updates to your linked organizations so that you don’t need to update it separately in each linked account. You can manage which organizations receive these updates from the Personal Information page in MyChart Central.
