As a Level III Regional Referral Center, Woman’s is part of a select group of hospitals in the nation who can provide quality care for the smallest and sickest babies.
We provide this high level of specialized care for newborns and infants through 12 months of age. Because babies have very unique needs, our NICU operating room is specifically designed for newborn and pediatric patients.
Located directly within the NICU, the operating room is staffed by a pediatric physician, surgical specialists and neonatal surgical nurses. Continuity of care means these same staff members will treat your baby before, during and after surgery.
