Summary
Dr. Koscick is a board-certified pathologist with more than two decades of expertise in breast and gynecologic pathology. Since 1999, he has provided high-level diagnostic consultation, including the evaluation of complex and challenging cases across both subspecialties. He has served as Medical Director of the Laboratory at Woman’s Hospital of Baton Rouge since 2021.
Dr. Koscick earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1993. He completed a general surgery internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital, followed by residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University, where he also served as Chief Resident. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Cytopathology.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Koscick remains actively engaged in continuing medical education and most recently attended the Gynecologic Review Course in Linz, Austria (2024). He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Cytopathology, and holds active membership in professional organizations including the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, the International Society of Gynecological Pathologists, and the International Society of Breast Pathologists.
