Summary

Summary

Rebecca Boudreaux, MD currently practices at Louisiana Women's Healthcare in Baton Rouge.

Dr. Boudreaux has a special interest in laparoscopic surgeries including hysterectomies, which reduces healing time and side effects of traditional surgery. She also focuses on infertility care, uterine preserving surgery, and high-risk pregnancies, though she treats women of all ages and stages of life.

For her low-risk patients, Dr. Boudreaux uses natural childbirth options to compliment deliveries, such as light diet during labor, walking epidural, and intermittent electronic fetal monitoring during labor. She's well-versed in medicated deliveries as well and can use various strategies to personalize her patient’s care.

After medical school at the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, board-certified Dr. Boudreaux stayed at the college to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. During her time in the program, she was named chief resident.

After college, she joined the East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Away from the office, Dr. Boudreaux enjoys downtime with her husband and children.
