Summary
Dr. Pamela Lewis is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Louisiana Women’s Healthcare. She has been providing excellent care to women in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, area since 2011.
Dr. Lewis is a native of St. Francisville, Louisiana, and graduated from West Feliciana High School as Valedictorian. She then completed her undergraduate studies from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, graduating magna cum laude. She earned her medical doctorate from Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
She went on to complete her residency at LSU in New Orleans. During her training, she gained broad exposure to routine and high-risk obstetrics. She also received extensive training in gynecologic care, including diagnosis and management of a vast array of women’s health conditions. She is proud to offer her patients many options of therapy, including unmedicated deliveries in obstetrics, and robotic-assisted surgical procedures for appropriate gynecologic conditions.
Dr. Lewis has been providing excellent care to women of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, metropolitan area, including her hometown of St. Francisville, since 2011. She and her staff take pride in providing each patient with an experience that meets their individual needs while educating them on their specific health conditions.
Dr. Lewis is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Outside of work, Dr. Lewis enjoys exercising, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to medicated deliveries, she also practices the following natural childbirth options, for the low risk patient:
- Intermittent electronic fetal monitoring during labor
- Light diet during labor
- Use of a certified doula
- Ambulation during labor
- Tub labor
- Routine IV not required
Dr Lewis is also skilled in Physician Assisted Robotic Surgery.
