Dr. Lin Dang is a board-certified OB/GYN dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care to women of all ages at Louisiana Women’s Healthcare in Baton Rouge.
She specializes in both routine and high-risk obstetric care, helping women achieve healthy pregnancies and safe, positive birth experiences. With a patient-centered approach, she tailors each treatment plan to the unique needs of her patients and supports natural labor and delivery options for low-risk pregnancies when appropriate.
Dr. Dang is equally committed to women’s health beyond pregnancy. She treats a wide range of gynecologic conditions—from menstrual disorders to menopause—and offers advanced, minimally invasive procedures designed to reduce discomfort and speed recovery. As the physician leader for Louisiana Women’s Healthcare’s Center for Fibroid Care, she provides comprehensive, individualized care for women experiencing fibroids, utilizing cutting-edge techniques such as minimally invasive fibroid removal with a strong focus on fertility preservation.
She is also highly skilled in laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries for conditions including ovarian cysts and endometriosis, ensuring excellent outcomes with less postoperative pain and faster recovery times.
Dr. Dang earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Xavier University before completing both her Doctorate of Medicine (MD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) at Tulane University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge, where she served as educational chief resident during her final year.
A member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Dr. Dang is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, allowing her to connect with and care for a diverse patient population. Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys reading, learning the violin, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Dang was honored as a Fork Cancer Honoree in 2024–2025 and now serves as a Fork Cancer Committee Chair, helping promote and fundraise for cancer patients in memory of her mother. In 2026, she will also serve as Chief of Staff for Woman’s Hospital, continuing her commitment to leadership and innovation.
Dr. Dang is currently accepting new patients and offers both online scheduling and virtual visits for added convenience.
