Summary

Dr Whittaker was born at Woman’s hospital and grew up in Baton Rouge. She attended high school at St Joseph’s Academy and completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University. She attended the American University of Antigua College of Medicine where she earned her medical degree in 2015. Dr. Whittaker completed her residency at the Baton Rouge General Family Medicine program where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Louisiana Academy of Family Medicine.

Special Interests

Dr. Whittaker has a special interest in metabolic and preventative medicine.  She feels blessed to practice in her hometown and finds it rewarding to help patients work toward their goals of achieving a healthier lifestyle.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, painting, cooking, and cheering the Tigers on.
