A Louisiana native, Dr. Breaux earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. He attended medical school at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine in Guadalajara, Mexico before completing his OB/GYN residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Breaux is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Breaux practices minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgery, physician-assisted robotic surgery, and urinary incontinence surgery. He specializes in gynecology as well as menopause management, infertility, and low- and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Breaux also offers various natural childbirth options for his low-risk patients. These include light diet during labor, ambulation during labor, walking epidural, routine IV not required, and intermittent electronic fetal monitoring during labor.
Dr. Breaux is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Breaux is a founding member of Louisiana Women’s Healthcare and has served as chief of staff at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge.
