Dr. Cuntz specializes only in breast cancer surgeries. She also care for women who are at high risk for breast cancer, but not yet diagnosed.

Dr. Cuntz is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, an active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Diseases. She is certified in Hidden Scar™ breast surgery.

She came to Baton Rouge in 1998 in a private General Surgery practice with a predominant breast practice. She joined Louisiana Breast Specialist in 2007.

Dr. Cuntz is a graduate of LSU where she received her Bachelor's of Science degree in 1987. She also attended the LSU Medical Center of New Orleans, earning her M.D. in 1993. She completed her General Surgery Residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans from 1993 to 1997.

Dr. Cuntz speaks Spanish. Se habla Español.

She is married and has one son.

Powerful Drive: What drives me is caring for my breast cancer patients. I educate them about their disease, so it is less frightening. I am humbled and honored to walk this journey with them.

Best Advice You’ve Ever Received: Pick your battles wisely! This is my mantra. Try not to “sweat the small stuff” because at the end of the day, most of it is small stuff.
