Dr. St. Amant was born and raised in Baton Rouge.

He completed medical school, and residency training through LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He completed his Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Maryland.

Dr. St. Amant is an Associate Clinical Professor at LSU Health Sciences Center.

Dr. St. Amant specializes in Prenatal Diagnosis, Fetal Ultrasound Assessment, Genetics, Hypertension during Pregnancy.

He has extensive experience in both Chorionic Villus Sampling and Amniocentesis.

He is accomplished at Fetal Blood Sampling and Fetal Transfusions.
