Summary
Dr. Oberlander graduated from Virginia Tech with degrees in Engineering, French and Chemistry.
He was one of the first American engineering students to study at the prestigious Ecole des Ponts et Chaussees in Paris, France. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
He continued his training at the Medical College of Virginia where he completed his surgical internship, neurosurgical residency, and Complex/Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery Fellowship.
He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and is board eligible in neurosurgery.
