Wellness Consultants

As part of your postoperative appointment at Woman’s Center for Wellness, you’ll meet with:

  • A registered dietitian to discuss your continued nutrition plan and goals.
  • Our clinical exercise physiologist will assess your current fitness level and provide direction about the appropriate program for you at Woman’s Center for Wellness.

Exercise and Fitness

Participate in a program at Woman's Center for Wellness before and after surgery for weight loss.

    Woman’s Center for Wellness is one of the area’s leading providers of physical therapy services for women and men. We offer one-on-one sessions with licensed therapists who have several specialty certifications including:

    • Dry needling (similar to acupuncture)
    • Graston® (technique to detect and treat scar tissue that affects normal body function)
    • Manual therapy for lymphedema (limb swelling)

    Woman’s Center for Wellness also has a warm water therapy pool, which offers many advantages that are essential in helping therapy patients achieve success. The buoyancy of the aqua environment reduces body weight resistance and stress on the joints, and increases ease of movement.

    Exercise Is Medicine Program

    Make movement your medicine. This unique program developed by Woman’s Center for Wellness offers specialized exercise programs based on individual medical needs and fitness levels.

    All programs are coordinated by an American College of Sports Medicine certified clinical exercise physiologist and/or a licensed physical assistant with expertise and certification in exercise and wellness.

    Medical Personal Training

    This program is for those requiring one-on-one training using an exercise plan that’s customized based on an individual’s medical history.

    Woman’s Center for Wellness Fitness Club offers a discounted membership to women post surgery. Our fitness club is staffed with trained Exercise Specialists to assist you in getting started with an independent fitness plan. Personal training is always an option if you want individualized attention and accountability.
