RECOVERING FROM SURGERY

Going Home

You are likely excited to get back to your own home but a little nervous about leaving the round-the-clock care during your hospital stay. Woman’s is here for you even after you return home.

Prepare to Go Home

When you are ready to go home, your nurse will give you detailed instructions that will help you continue on the path to complete recovery.

Be sure to continue taking your medications as prescribed by your doctor. You will also be advised on whether to resume taking any medications you took before surgery. You will be advised if you may take stool softeners and laxatives as needed.

Call your doctor if you have any unusual symptoms or concerns.
