Dr. Michelle Becnel is a Family Medicine Physician from Thibodaux, Louisiana. She has over 5 years of experience in the primary care setting where she developed a strong interest in metabolic health and obesity medicine. She currently practices at the Woman’s Metabolic Center at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge where she is able to focus on her interests and help patients with metabolic syndrome. She is board certified in Obesity Medicine and Family Medicine and is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association, Louisiana Obesity Society and American Academy of Family Physicians.
