Amber Parden, MD

Amber Parden, MD, is a board certified psychiatrist with a passion for perinatal mental health. She provides treatment for peripartum and postpartum anxiety and depression, focusing on medication management and psychotherapy treatment plans, along with inpatient and outpatient consultations for mental health support, bariatric surgery patients and those undergoing cancer treatments.

Dr. Parden completed her psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship at University of Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine in Buffalo, N.Y., where she served as chief fellow. Most recently she worked as an attending psychiatrist at Western New York Children’s Psychiatric Center in West Seneca, N.Y.

The Louisiana native received her bachelor of science degree in human medicine from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge and her medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine in Antigua, where she graduated Cum Laude. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
