Theresa Brignac, MD currently practices at Louisiana Women's Healthcare in Baton Rouge.
Dr. Brignac has a passion for women's health at all stages of life, from adolescence to menopause. She emphasizes preventive care, which can help you to avoid illness and detect problems before symptoms arise. She has extensive experience in minimally invasive pelvic surgeries, including robotic-assisted hysterectomy. Dr. Brignac is especially interested in both high- and low-risk obstetrics, as well as natural childbirth, including ambulation and intermittent electronic fetal monitoring during labor.
Born and raised in this city, Dr. Theresa Brignac attended St. Joseph's Academy before attaining her undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University. She then finished medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and her OB/GYN residency at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge.
She is certified as an OB/GYN through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Brignac enjoys outdoor activities, attending local sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.
