Brittani Breaux, MD

Dr. Breaux leads Woman’s Hospital Endocrinology and Weight Management Clinic.

Dr. Breaux completed her fellowship in endocrinology from Ochsner in New Orleans and has been involved in several clinical research studies on diabetes and other endocrine disorders. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychological sciences and pre-medicine from Loyola University New Orleans and her medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She also completed her residency in internal medicine at LSU.

Dr. Breaux is from the New Orleans area and understands the local culture and unique needs of our patient population. She recognizes that for some people, aggressive lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise aren’t enough to manage weight. Sometimes there are underlying hormonal reasons why a patient is unable to shed pounds, and she is passionate about helping to diagnose and treat these conditions to assist patients in achieving their overall health goals.
