Anna and Addison NICU Wall of Hope Twins Anna and Addison were born at 23 weeks and 4 days gestation, and they spent 117 days in the NICU. It’s an experience that their mom, Amanda, can only describe as being like a roller coaster. “It was an up and down situation, but we were very fortunate to be at Woman’s,” she said. Amanda says all the doctors and nurses were wonderful, and she became friends with many of them. She enjoys attending Woman’s annual NICU reunion to reconnect with the staff. Anna and Addison are now 8 years old. “They have their everyday struggles, but we’re blessed that they’re here,” Amanda said.
