GYN Cancer Signs & Symptoms

No one knows your body better than you. If you feel like something isn’t normal, pay attention. Make notes. And see your doctor.

Common symptoms of gynecologic cancers include:

  • Abnormal bleeding or vaginal discharge
  • Abdominal or back pain
  • Bloating
  • Changes in bathroom habits
  • Changes in vulva or skin color (rash, sores, warts)
  • Itching and/or burning vulva
  • Pelvic pain or pressure

See your doctor right away if you have unusual or severe vaginal bleeding, or symptoms that last more than two weeks.

Convenient timing is not a trait of gyn cancers.

Check the Symptoms Chart of Gynecologic (GYN) Cancers that only affect women.
