Beginning mid-to-late April, Woman’s will begin a flood mitigation project which will take approximately 10 months to complete. During that time, both lakes on campus will be drained, excavated and widened to increase their capacity. Additional campus improvements include:
- Adding a second entrance to Rue de la Vie from Stumberg Lane, connecting drivers to our campus near the Cancer Pavilion.
- A resurfaced walking trail.
- Using the dirt excavated from the lake expansions, we will fill some of the low-lying areas on campus.
Work will be organized in a way so that any potential impact on patients, visitors and employees will be kept to a minimum.
