Chad Matrana brings 15 years of fine dining experience
BATON ROUGE, La. – Woman’s Hospital recently welcomed Chad Matrana as executive chef. Matrana comes to Woman’s with a wealth of experience in the culinary field including an apprenticeship in Florence, Italy and a career that began at Commander’s Palace. Matrana has worked for 15 years in fine dining and most recently served as executive chef at University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

On Oct. 29, new Woman's executive chef Chad Matrana made his debut at the monthly farmer’s market held in the Woman’s Way Cafe in partnership with Capitol City Produce. He prepared butternut squash lettuce wraps while getting to meet his Woman’s colleagues and visitors of the hospital.
