Woman's Hospital has been recognized as a Gold Fit-Friendly Worksite by the American Heart Association for providing employees with healthier lifestyle options. Woman's earned the distinction through its emphasis on nutrition and exercise and by taking "important steps to create a culture of wellness by providing support to employees," according to the American Heart Association.

Woman's encourages a healthy lifestyle among its employees through offering healthy food options in the cafeteria and vending machines, creating an employee wellness program and building the one-mile Harris Walking Trail on the hospital campus. In addition to encouraging its employees to lead a healthier life, Woman's Hospital also offers classes and programs to help the community incorporate heart-heart choices into their lifestyles.
