Stephanie Anderson Named Woman’s Hospital Executive Vice President

Stephanie H. Anderson has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Woman’s Hospital. Anderson joined Woman’s in December 1990 and most recently served as Woman’s Senior Vice President / Chief Financial Officer prior to this promotion. Anderson is responsible for Woman’s day-to-day operations. She is a certified public accountant in the State of Louisiana. Anderson is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. She is a member of the Louisiana Commercial Client Advisory Board for Capital One Bank, Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s Business Development Advisory Committee, and the Mayor’s Health City Initiative and Community Health Needs Assessment Committee. She currently serves on the board of directors of Capital Area United Way, McMains Children’s Developmental Center and Elan Cotillion.

Greg Smith, M.B.A., has been named Woman’s Chief Financial Officer. Smith joined Woman’s in January 1994 and most recently served as Vice President of Finance. His oversight includes finance, patient accounting, operational excellence, managed care, admissions, materials management, medical audit and employed physician practice management. Smith is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Baton Rouge Ancient Athlete Society and currently serves on the board of St. Thomas More Catholic School as chair of the finance committee.
