February 18, 2014

Woman’s Hospital struck gold with its 2012 Cancer Annual Report and its breast cancer campaign “Tell”.  The 2013 Cancer Awareness Advertising Awards Program presented Woman’s with a Gold Award for its 2012 Cancer Annual Report, and Woman’s and MESH in Baton Rouge received a Gold Award for their collaborative work on the breast cancer campaign. The Cancer Awareness Advertising Awards Program is hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today and Creative Images, Inc., an internationally recognized firm that has specialized in strategic healthcare marketing for more than 20 years.

The breast cancer campaign “Tell” featured women from the Baton Rouge area in print ads, billboards, TV spots and social media with the message to “Tell Your Wife,” “Talk to Your Mom” and “Call Your Grandmother” to remind them to schedule their annual mammogram.

The Cancer Awareness Advertising Awards Program is the nation’s most elite competition recognizing marketing professionals for outstanding work in advertising for cancer awareness. The CAA Awards is an annual contest allowing entries designed, printed and/or distributed the previous year to be scored, judged and recognized for excellence in cancer awareness marketing and advertising.
