 LEARNING OBJECTIVES: At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify and define perinatal loss in hospital setting.
  2. Discuss patient trauma response.
  3. Practice "bad news" communication skills and competency.
  4. Illustrate use of the warm hand off referral process.
  5. Examine how to respond to your own psychological triggers to distress and loss.
