Gregory Heroman, MD

Dr. Heroman is a 1969 graduate of Louisiana State University and a 1973 Doctoral Graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. He first completed a Family Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio and then an OB-GYN Residency through the Wright State University centered at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a “Fellow” in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).

Dr. Heroman is certified in: Microscopic Surgery, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Laser Surgery, Endometrial Ablation, Bladder Suspensions, Pelvic Support Surgery, GYN Robotics Surgery, Robotics Hysterectomy, & office OB/GYN Ultrasound.

He is married, has three children, and grandchildren. He enjoys LSU and SAINTS football, LSU Baseball, Mardi Gras, reading, & spending time with family and friends. He is a Life Loyal Sig (Sigma Chi, a Christian fraternity), and is a member of St. Luke’s Church.

Dr. Heroman runs a solo practice. On weekends, he and two physicians rotate "on call". He was Chief of Staff at Woman's Hospital in 1997. Dr. Heroman has 10 years of service on the United Healthcare Insurance "Credentials Committee" and was also a participant in the "Birth Day Live" program (delivering a baby on TV for the Discovery Health Channel, live from Woman's Hospital in 2004.
