Nurseries

We encourage new moms to keep their babies in their rooms for initial bonding, but we also have nurseries for babies who need special attention.

Well-Baby Nursery

We have well-baby nurseries for times when parents need additional rest. They are in close proximity to the patient rooms, and each has a bonding room for adoptive parents.

Transition Nursery

The Transition Nursery is a place for newborns who may need additional monitoring following birth, but whose conditions are not serious enough to require treatment in our Newborn and Infant Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

NICU

In the Newborn and Infant Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursery, we focus our attention on babies who require specialized care. Conditions may range from low birth weight to critical intensive care and the need for a long-term (up to 12 months) learning environment. Each baby's condition is monitored at all times using the latest and most advanced equipment and technology available.

The NICU nursery is equipped with single-family rooms. We adopted this layout after gaining insight from our NICU staff, families of patients and hospitals around the world. The private rooms allow medical staff to focus on each infant's specific needs, while giving moms and dads personal space to bond with their baby.
