Babies and Pets

Taking a new baby home means an adjustment for every member of the family – mom, dad and sometimes even the family pet. Join us to learn how to care for and help your pet adjust to life with a new baby. For those who don't already have one, we offer tips on what to look for when selecting a family pet.

Car Seat Safety

Attend this class to be eligible to win a special door prize.

Car seats save lives and prevent injuries, but only when they are used correctly and consistently. Learn how to protect your precious cargo beginning with the first ride home from the hospital.

Baby's Building Blocks

When should your baby begin crawling? What about babbling? Our certified physical, speech and occupational therapists will discuss developmental milestones (motor, language, feeding, medical and dietary) for your baby's first year as well as infant massage and nutrition tips.

Let's Talk Teeth

Pregnancy can cause hormonal changes that can increase your risk for developing gingivitis, periodontitis and dental decay. Join us to learn how to properly care for your teeth and gums during pregnancy. This class will also help you decide when and where to take your child to the dentist for the first time. Early treatment prevents problems affecting a child's health, well-being, self-image and overall achievement.

Bringing Baby Home

Learn what to expect when you bring your newborn home. Discover what is normal and what is not in your baby's ever-changing care. This class will cover common newborn conditions, rashes, normal bowel movements and umbilical cord care.

When Baby is Sick

When should you call the doctor? What are causes for concern? We'll talk about what to do when your baby is sick, including appropriate care for the first three years, and learn how to get the most from your visits to the pediatrician.

Nutrition and Fitness

This presentation will guide you through a healthy pregnancy and balanced postpartum nutrition. Help improve energy level, attitude and self-image with pregnancy exercises to prepare your body for the changes of pregnancy, labor, delivery and motherhood.
