Woman's embraces the many cancer support groups offered by Cancer Services of Baton Rouge. For more information, call 225-927-2273.
This annual event, sponsored by Woman’s oncology team, celebrates the lives of cancer survivors and their family members and the memory of those who died. This is an occasion to pause and reflect on the many joys life offers and examine ways we can celebrate life.
Live Well with Cancer
Our annual Women Living With Cancer education event focuses on a particular cancer-related topic. Past topics have included genetics, fatigue, complementary medicine and self-help techniques. While these events are directed to survivors, they are open to any healthcare provider as well as members of the community.
Art can heal with every brush stroke, every high note and every page in a scrapbook.
Woman's launched a Healing Arts program in mid-2013 to enhance the hospital experience for patients and their families through music, poetry, dance and art.
Check out what programs and services Woman's offers for cancer patients and their families during and after their battle with the disease.
