Property Concepts

Since mid-2007, Woman's Hospital has been planning how to use the remainder of its property at Briarwood. This spring, the hospital held a week-long planning session with neighbors, real estate brokers, civic leaders, architects and engineers, and with that input the consulting team developed initial concepts about how the property might be used.

The blending of a mixed-use development, a residential area, as well as a mix of retail, dining, and professional services, all within walking distance, would provide an opportunity for a unique style of living for Baton Rouge residents.
