Digital Mammography

Woman’s Hospital offers digital mammography, the latest mammographic technology for the early detection of breast cancer.

Digital mammography trial results showed women with dense breasts, women younger than 50, and those who are perimenopausal may benefit from digital mammograms.

When it comes to breast cancer, early detection is always your best defense. As part of our screening process, we offer "triple review" of your mammogram, which makes our screening procedures some of the most thorough available.

Screening Versus Diagnostic Mammogram

When it comes to breast cancer, early detection is always your best defense. And one of the most thorough screening processes available is a Triple-Review Mammogram from Woman’s Hospital.

Unlike regular mammograms, ours are reviewed by two board-certified radiologists at no extra cost to you. In addition, each is analyzed by our state-of-the-art Computer-Aided Detection system. These extra steps enable us to find breast cancers in their earliest stages, when they’re most curable.

Locations

Locations to receive a screening mammogram include the Woman's Imaging Services, the Mobile Mammography Coach and Woman's Center for Wellness. Diagnostic mammograms are performed at Woman's Hospital Imaging Services only.
