About Woman's

Sarah and Owen's Story

At Woman’s, we see miracles every day.

Owen was born nearly 10 weeks earlier than his anticipated due date. His mom, Sarah, recalls how tiny Owen was while he was at Woman's NICU. Now, Owen is a healthy and energetic boy who shows no signs of slowing down.

Now 3 ½ years old, Owen was born at just over 30 weeks and weighed only 2 ½ pounds.  Woman’s Newborn and Infant Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is equipped to care for sick or premature infants who require constant monitoring. As a result, many of the sickest babies in this region can receive the care and services they need without being transported elsewhere.

Each year programs and services provided by Woman’s for the underserved and uninsured, like state-of-the-art care for babies in the NICU, create a significant financial burden.

We are committed to improving the health of women and infants in our community. Your philanthropic support plays a critical role in ensuring our ability to continue this kind of important work. There are many ways to give, so please consider donating now >>
