Clinical Trials

The medical staff at Woman's Hospital supports clinical trial research for various types of cancer.  Clinical trials are not conducted on site at Woman's Hospital, but are available at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge, where a team of highly qualified physicians and research experts assist patients through all phases of preparation and treatment.

How to Participate:

If you are interested in participating in a clinical trial, please contact your physician to discuss options that are available to you.  Your physician will refer you to a participating oncologist at Mary Bird Perkins.

Research

The research division of Woman’s Hospital’s lab services conducts clinical and molecular biology/genetic research, including technical and administrative support, for the medical staff and community.
