Visiting Family and FriendsOn Move Day
If you have family member or friend who will be moving to the new campus today, here are a few tips on how to visit them.
While family and friends are always welcome at Woman’s, if possible, try to avoid visiting the hospital locations on Sunday, August 5 as we will be moving women and infants in a carefully planned and process. At Airline/Goodwood and Airline/Stumberg/Pecue, hospital entrances and exits will be closely monitored and restricted due to the confidentiality of patients.
- At Goodwood, family and friends will be given an map and instructions to the new campus when their loved ones is ready to be brought downstairs to the ambulance.
- At the new Woman’s, family and friends will be instructed to report to the pink tent located outside the Physician Office Building. They will then be escorted to a waiting area to remain until their loved one is settled in her new room.
If you have an appointment such as a imaging, surgery, infusion treatment, or other procedure at Woman’s on Monday, August 6, please report to the new campus. Mammograms are also being scheduled at Woman's Center for Wellness. The Goodwood campus will be closed.
All of the physicians* in the Woman’s Physician Tower I are moving to the new campus, however some are moving at different times. If you have an appoirntmet with your physician on Monday, August 6th, please check with their office about their new location and phone numbers. Contact information is listed in our Doctor Directory.
