WomenCertifited® as one of the Top 100 Hospitals for Patient Experience

Women in the community have ranked Woman’s Hospital a Top 100 Hospital for Patient Experience by WomenCertified®, an organization committed to helping women identify businesses that value the customer experience and appreciate female consumer needs. The survey process is based on significant research of customer satisfaction among local women. Based on individual patient feedback, Woman’s averages 94 percent patient satisfaction every year.

“This recognition holds special significance because improving the health of women in our community is our mission. At Woman’s, we work hard to provide an individualized, caring experience and to be chosen for this honor sends a strong message that we are meeting the unique needs and exceeding the expectations of our patients,” says Teri Fontenot, President and CEO of Woman’s. In the U.S., women account for 85 percent of all healthcare decisions.

Recipients do not apply for the award; they are selected based on a rigorous scoring process that begins with the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) database and then focuses on female patient satisfaction survey scores, as well as, research conducted in partnership with the Wharton School of Business on what drives the consumer experience for women vs. men.
