Care for Victims of Sexual Assault
Every 2 minutes, someone in the United States is sexually assaulted. Over 60% of the sexual assault victims who present themselves at a healthcare facility in the Baton Rouge area are treated at Woman’s. These services are provided at no cost to the victim. A board certified OB/GYN, along with a team of nurses, provides a forensic exam, medical screening, and testing, as well as compassion and support for these women.
With the generous help and support from the community, Woman's Hospital is able to provide this critical service for women. Our most vulnerable patients need your help to continue funding for vital healthcare services that are at risk of being reduced or eliminated. We can't do it without you!
