Woman’s Chief Nursing Executive Named in the 2010 “100 Great Nurses of Louisiana”
We are proud to announce that Patricia Johnson, RN, MN, Senior Vice President of Nursing and Chief Nursing Executive, has been honored as one of The 100 Great Nurses of Louisiana. This is the 24th year of the statewide honors. The 100 Great Nurses of Louisiana was founded as a way to recognize outstanding nurses for their accomplishments and successes. Honorees are selected by their peers and patients based on their humanity and contribution to the community and the nursing profession.
“We are extremely proud of Tricia and this outstanding recognition. Her dedication helps ensure that every day our patients receive outstanding, individualized patient care; and congratulations to Woman’s entire nursing staff as this honor is reflective of their commitment to our patients and the community,” says Teri Fontenot, Woman’s president and CEO.
Johnson joined Woman’s in 1997, and is currently responsible for nursing care across the organization as well as operational responsibility for labor and delivery, assessment center, antepartal, gyn/oncology/medical services, mother/baby, perioperative services, adult intensive care unit, nursing informatics, patient safety, and nursing administration.
