BioDr. Kaplan attended medical school and finished his residency in general surgery at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He then completed a plastic surgery fellowship at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Kaplan has experience in procedures such as breast reconstruction, as well as common and complex surgeries for problems resulting from acquired deformities. He is also fully trained in the latest surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures.

Special Medical InterestsDr. Kaplan performs to DIEP Flap Procedure for breast reconstruction, which uses the patients own abdominal tissue to remake the breast without sacrificing the abdominal muscles, as was the case in older procedures.
