BioDr. Edward Schwartzenburg attended medical school at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA. He completed his OB-GYN Residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston, TX, M.D. Anderson in Houston, TX, and Breckenridge Hospital in Austin, TX. Dr. Schwartzenburg is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is certified by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Special Medical InterestsDr. Edward Schwartzenburg specializes in Physician Assisted Robotic Surgery advanced procedures including hysterectomy, removal of fibroids, and Tubal Reanastomosis. He is also highly skilled in Laparoscopic Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Complete Obstetrical Care, and In Office Surgical Procedures.

In addition to medicated deliveries, Dr. Edward Schwartzenburg also practices the following natural childbirth options, for the low risk patient:
