BioDr. Alec Hirsch graduated from Tulane Medical School and completed his residency in general surgery at Marshall University School of Medicine. He has been practicing general surgery in Baton Rouge for 18 years for women, men and adolescent children. Dr. Hirsch is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He also instructs third-year students from Tulane Medical School.
Special Medical InterestsDr. Hirsch’s special interests include gallbladder disease, thyroid surgery, hernia surgery, soft tissue tumors, general surgical problems in peri-partum patients. He is accepting new patients including women, men and adolescent children.
