Our full-service laboratory specializes in procedures that support all hospital services, with particular emphasis on obstetrics/gynecology and neonatology. An array of hormonal tests and procedures are available for obstetrical/ gynecological workups, and the Cytogenetics Department provides chromosomal analysis of blood, bone marrow, amniotic fluid and chorionic villus samples.
The Cary Dougherty Cancer Detection Laboratory is a full-service laboratory and cancer detection lab that supports all hospital services but specializes in obstetrics/gynecology and neonatology. It is one of the most respected in the nation, having processed more than one million Pap tests since its formation in 1958.
