Select Another Department Building Operations
The Building Operations Department provides around-the-clock maintenance services to keep the hospital and its offsite facilities running smoothly. This includes monitoring and maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems and other utilities associated with the facility. Outside the facility, department employees manage upkeep of the parking lots and landscaping across the hospital campus. Department employees also coordinate the planning, design and implementation of all renovation and construction projects. Security services are contracted through Wackenhut, who provides security officers for the facility and grounds. Department representatives serve on the hospital's Environment of Care committee. The committee provides oversight on safety issues as required by JCAHO, OSHA, State Fire Marshall, Department of Health and all other regulatory agencies.
