Woman's pharmacy provides pharmaceutical services for hospital patients including unit dose dispensing and sterile preparation compounding. Medication orders are screened for allergy, drug/drug, drug/disease and drug/food interactions. Service is provided by a staff of registered pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians. The pharmacists provide drug information and medication counseling to physicians, patients and hospital employees. The pharmacy operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
