Summer Reading:
Together Everyone Accomplishes More
This eight session program geared for children in the 1st through 5th grade who struggle with reading, read below grade level, and/or have dyslexia.  Pre- and post-tests will be individually administered to assess the child's reading level and measure progress.  Within the group setting each child will have individual goals based on personal strengths and weaknesses. Class is limited to 5 children per group.

Using a language-based approach to reading, a certified speech pathologist will help your child to:

• Improve reading fluency and comprehension
• Increase vocabulary
• Improve word attack (similar to phonics)
• Learn decoding skills
• Improve spelling and punctuation skills

Planning and organizing written work will also be addressed.

Mondays and Wednesdays
Grades 1 and 2:  8:30 - 10:00 AM
Grades 3 - 5:  10:30 AM - Noon

Pretests begin week of June 24th.
