LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to:

1. Discuss the multidimensional aspects of addiction

2. Evaluate and assess the patient for chemical use, abuse, and/or dependency

3. Utilize the motivational interviewing model for brief intervention

4. Adapt evidence based approaches for treatment of addictive behaviors

You must attend the entire program and complete the evalation form to receive the contact hours. This program was approved for 3.0 Clinical hour(s) of continuing educuation credit by the National Association of Social Workers - Louisiana Chapter as authorized by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.
